In 1981 Inland Inflatable
Boats and Service opened it’s doors to the general public selling and
servicing Liferafts, small recreational inflatable boats and marine engines.
Several years later, Inland became one of the newest Canadian dealers for
Zodiac Inflatable boats and years of rapid growth, both in recreational and
commercial sales, drove Inland to the top. A few short years later, Inland was
being presented with Zodiac’s prestigious “Top Dealer Awards”. First was the
award for being Canada’s Largest Dealer and then North America’s Largest Dealer
and these achievements continued year after year.
Through these years, the sale of commercial product grew exponentially as search
and rescue operations, enforcement agencies and other commercial organizations
began to see the overwhelming benefits of the Zodiac over conventional marine
vessels. Commercial Shipping, cruise and ferry operators and even recreational
sail and power boaters were needing to outfit their vessels with Liferafts and
other survival equipment and Inland finally shifted it’s entire focus to
providing these needed services.
Today, after over 2 decades in the marine industry, Inland Liferaft and
Marine is the leading supplier in the Great Lakes Region, for
DBC Liferafts, Zodiac Hurricane boats,
Mustang survival wear and other marine safety equipment.
